How to Burn MP5 Files

Files with the extension MP5 are data files created by Maplesoft's Maple mathematics program. You can archive your Maple MP5 files quickly and easily by burning the files to a data CD. Windows includes native support for burning files to a data disc, so you won't need to download any special software to burn your MP5 files.

 Instruction
  1. Insert a blank CD-R data disc into your CD-R drive.
  2.  Hold the Windows logo key, then press R to open a run command box.
  3. Type "explorer" in the box, and press Enter to open a new Windows Explorer file browser.
  4. Navigate to the c:\Program Files\Maple 13 folder. If you have an earlier version of Maple, then substitute that version number in place of "13" in the above path.
  5. Right-click the MP5 data file that you wish to burn to a data disc.
  6. Hover your mouse over "Send to" in the menu, then click the entry in the submenu for your CD or DVD drive. Windows will open a new disc burning window and add the selected MP5 file to the burn job.
  7. Click and drag any other files that you want to burn from the Explorer browser window to the burn window.
  8. Click the "Burn to disc" button to burn the selected files to a data CD.
