If you are using Windows 7 and unfortunately you uninstalled the important windows 7 gadget like Currency converter, Weather Report, Clock, Calender, CPu Meter etc. so don't worries its very simple to restore as a default..
- Open the Control Panel (Categories & View) and select the Appearance & Personalization.
- Click the Restore Desktop Gadgets installed with Windows under the Desktop Gadgets.
- After Clicking the Restore gadgets you get the message "All windows and Administrator installed gadgets have been restored".
- That all you completed the Gadgets Restore Task.
